Interim Link Light Rail Construction Safety Specialist
As
Interim Link Light Rail Construction Safety Specialist, Systems
implemented and monitored the Link Construction Safety Program.
Areas of responsibility included: OSHA jobsite compliance
inspections, safety procedure development, safety training, monitor safety
programs documentation, review of construction safety plans, preparation
of accident investigation reports, submittal reviews, approval of Job
Hazard Analysis, and approval of Construction Safety plans. Systems
designated staff incorporated expertise in the areas of engineering,
construction management, OSHA inspections, compliance verification,
construction inspection, environmental remediation, environmental
monitoring, and hazmat identification.
Liaison to the Link Director, Link Construction Manager, Link
Deputy Director of Technical Services, as well as associated Construction
Management and Engineering firms.
Staff worked closely with other Sound Transit and consultant staff,
monitored and reviewed work performed by consultants, suppliers, and
contractors.
